Reducing sulfur dioxide emissions since 1955
Our team was working to minimize emissions even before air quality regulations were introduced in Turkey. What’s more, we are one of the longest-running sulfur recovery facilities in the country.
Our work makes a big difference. In 2020, we captured more than 60 million pounds of sulfur that would have otherwise been released into the atmosphere as more than 60,000 tons of sulfur dioxide.
